Glenn Lenhard began working in the automotive industry in 1973, shortly after graduating from Olympia High School in Rochester, New York. He has worked at independent automotive repair shops and larger dealers in the Rochester and St. Petersburg Florida regions. In 1979 he opened Bay Imports in St. Petersburg and continued that business until 1991.While working at Bay Imports Glenn lamented to a friend and owner of the successful MG repair outfit, University Motors that he wished he could specialize in the MG repairs. His friend, John Twist replied "Why not?"

With John's response in mind, Glenn eventually opened Glenn's MG and British Car Repair in the building the 3445 Car Store's service department once occupied. He has been testing the Why Not? question ever since, and takes pride in the top quality restorations and work that rolls out our door every day.

Glenn is also an active participant in the Tampa Bay music community as a professional musician. Since 1985, he has been the principle trombonist of the Tampa Bay Symphony. Outside the Symphony, Glenn is a busy freelance artist playing in many local big bands, jazz bands, dinner theaters and church groups.
